Making Cottage Cheese.



We made cottage cheese from 'Kristina's' milk.  You boil 4 cups of milk and then add 1/4 cup of vinegar.  The vinegar helps to curdle the milk.  Leave to cool and then add a touch of salt.  We were surprised it didn't taste like vinegar!  The heat of the milk must eliminate the vinegar taste somehow.  Here we are trying the cottage cheese on a cracker. Interesting.....

Kia ora koutou.  Welcome to Room 4's blog!  This is a new adventure Mrs Jacobs and Room 4 is taking! We are in the world of bloggers!  Here are our famous chefs, Kingsley and Shaemus making pikelets.  We used the milk from our cow 'Kristina' for the pikelets and we made cream.  Scrumptious!
